Job summary

Humboldt House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Part Time Laundry Aide to ensure linen and residents’ clothing are collected, laundered, distributed and stored according to policy. You will follow facility procedures, work with the Laundry Supervisor, and contribute to a clean, sanitary environment.

Qualifications

• Follows facility policies and procedures.
• Ability to work with a Laundry Supervisor and team.
• Maintains sanitary handling of all laundry.
• Willingness to attend mandatory inservices.

Responsibilities

• Sorts soiled laundry into appropriate categories.
• Washes, dries, folds, and hangs laundry neatly.
• Returns clean laundry to residents and supply areas.
• Keeps work area clean and complies with safety rules.
• Adheres to Resident Rights and confidentiality.
