Spring Arbor of Clover Hill is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide for the day shift (9:30am–5:00pm). You will help residents feel comfortable and at home by managing laundry for linens and clothing, keeping the laundry area clean, and following safety protocols.

The role emphasizes patient care for seniors, reliability, and neat appearance, with duties including scheduling updates and assisting coworkers as needed.

Responsabilités

• Use laundry cart to collect dirty laundry from residents' rooms.
• Wash and dry table, bed and bath linens and resident clothing as scheduled.
• Distribute laundry to designated residents.
• Fold or hang clothing for residents as needed.
• Notify supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry and storage room.
• Label towels, washcloths, etc. appropriately.
• Update laundry schedule when a new resident moves in.
• Follow safety and infection control policies and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Laundry Functions

• Use laundry cart to collect dirty laundry from residents' rooms
• Wash and dry table, bed and bath linens and resident clothing as scheduled
• Ensure that laundry is distributed to its designated residents
• Fold or hang clothing for residents when necessary
• Notify supervisor when linens, towels, detergents or other supplies are needed
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry and storage room
• Ensure appropriately labeled designations for towels, washcloths, etc.
• Update laundry schedule when a new resident moves in
• Understand, supervise, implement, and follow safety and infection control policies and procedures, post chemical safety signs
• Assist coworker's with other duties as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned by his/her supervisor

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Patience and desire to work with seniors

• Well groomed and ability to follow dress requirements
• Familiarity with washing and drying clothes

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred
• General understanding of the needs of seniors
