Job summary

ASM Global at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL, is seeking a part-time, as-needed Dance Instructor to fill in when regular instructors are unavailable. You will teach Latin styles such as Bachata and Salsa to diverse ages, from early childhood to adults.

Responsibilities include leading classes on time, maintaining a positive and safe learning environment, adapting plans, and communicating professionally with customers. Evening availability and up to 25 hours weekly are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess current Red Cross CPR certification.
• Working knowledge of fine arts, dance, and training principles.
• Ability to cooperate with staff and work with limited supervision.
• Evening, weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Instruct scheduled classes on time; provide effective dance skills.
• Lead participants in line with the lesson plan in a fun, safe environment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing atmosphere.
• Explain and demonstrate techniques; adapt movements to music.
• Provide age-appropriate instruction and adjust plans as needed.
• Ensure safety standards and policies are followed.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Maintain attendance and keep the studio organized.
