Job summary

Midland University in Fremont, NE is seeking a part-time Men's/Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach. The candidate will support coaching, program administration, practice planning and other duties as directed by the Head Coach.

Responsibilities include recruiting, coordinating practice sessions, coaching the position segments, assisting with team travel and game day operations, preparing scouting reports, developing players, monitoring academic progress, and ensuring compliance with NAIA/KCAC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of both men's and women's lacrosse.
• Ability to maintain team discipline and ethical standards.
• Experience coordinating recruiting activities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience uploading, editing and analyzing game film.
• Knowledge of NAIA and KCAC rules preferred.
• Coaching experience at college, high school, or club level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain students for lacrosse programs.
• Plan and prepare practices.
• Coach the position segments as directed by the Head Coach.
• Assist with team travel and game day operations.
• Prepare scouting reports for future opponents.
• Player development and management.
• Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes.
• Ensure compliance with NAIA, KCAC and Midland policies.
• Uphold and reflect the program's mission and core values.
