Job summary

IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, seeks a Part-Time Laboratory Courier in Lawrence, KS. This position supports sample transport within a fast-paced laboratory environment and requires a high school diploma or GED, data entry proficiency, and a clean driving record.

The ideal candidate will have experience in aseptic technique, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Working hours are Thursday through Saturday, 7:00am–1:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Biology or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with data entry and computer applications.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 30lbs above waist level
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs above waist level.
• A valid US driver’s license issued at least 5 years prior to the date of hire, with a clean driving record meeting IEH’s motor vehicle risk standards.

Part-Time Laboratory Courier (Lawrence, KS)

IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Laboratory Courier position at its facility in Lawrence, KS.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Biology or related field (preferred)
• Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
• Ability to regularly lift up to 30lbs above waist level
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs above waist level
• A valid US driver’s license issued at least 5 years prior to the date of hire, with a clean driving record (including, at minimum, no at-fault accidents in the last 5 years) that meets/continues to meet IEH’s motor vehicle risk standards, as verified through ongoing MVR monitoring

The schedule for this position is Thursday through Saturday, from 7:00am to 1:00pm.
