Job summary

Qualifications

• Coordinate experimental details and solve technical problems.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• SPSS data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Develop policies, procedures, and methods for lab use and cleanliness.
• Prepare for and conduct lab and research activities; create charts, graphs, and reports; design surveys and conduct basic data analysis.
• Provide computing assistance with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, and Outlook.
• Train students and others in lab procedures.
• Attend lab, statistics, and research methods classes as needed.
• Hold office hours to assist students with statistics and research assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
