Job summary

University of Texas at Austin is seeking a part-time Research Interventionist (Korean-speaking RN) to perform weekly interventions with study participants. Interventions occur remotely via chat or video and involve coordinating with the PI and team to ensure smooth participation in a web-app based physical activity program.

The ideal candidate must hold a current RN license in the U.S., be fluent in Korean and English, and demonstrate strong communication skills and flexibility across time

Qualifications

  • RN license current in the U.S.
  • Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic proficiency with Zoom, MS Office, Microsoft Teams, etc.
  • Ability to work according to participants' schedules in different time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Weekly interventions: conduct weekly interventions with participants via chat in Simplified Korean or English.
  • Procedural tasks: maintain a research diary, manage communications for participant payments and Fitbit distribution, and coordinate with the PI, Coordinator, and peer interventionists.
  • Recruitment activities: engage in recruitment activities to support the study.
