Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is hiring part-time coaches for after-school programs held at multiple elementary schools in the Bay Area. Shifts run Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with coaches typically teaching one class per day (about one hour) and a possible extra 30 minutes of pre-care.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to complete TB test and Live Scan.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class sizes of 8–16 students and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Take attendance, sign-ins, and communicate with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
