Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Current Georgia license to practice psychology (or eligible).
• Two years of experience at Psychologist 2 or equivalent.
• Experience with adolescents in residential/juvenile settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review background information in JTS and youth health records.
• Interview youth to obtain psychosocial information, evaluate mental status, assess risk and needs.
• Complete diagnostic evaluation in JTS with clinical formulation and plans/recommendations.
• Communicate results of evaluations in treatment team meetings and with staff.
• Authorize psychometric measures as clinically indicated to clarify diagnosis and measure progress.
• Provide clinical supervision focusing on support, development and monitoring of mental health staff.
• Provide 24-hour on-call supervision/consultation as needed.
