Goodwill Industries of NCPA in Emporium, PA is seeking a part-time janitorial assistant to perform basic cleaning tasks and learn quickly during a 90-day training period.

You will work with standard janitorial equipment, handle cleaning solutions, and follow safety policies while maintaining a clean and secure site. The role requires ability to stand long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. is desired, but not necessary.
• In certain cases may need to possess a current, valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
• Must have clean Criminal Record and Child Abuse Clearances, and must pass pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must have good work habits, such as acceptable attitude and punctuality.
• Must respond appropriately to supervision.
• Must possess adequate physical endurance to work at industrial standards.

Responsibilities

• Must follow cleaning schedule established for the job site.
• Clean assigned areas according to contract specifications.
• Follow established safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure the security of the job site and safeguard keys.
• Be available for emergency coverage when required.
• Maintain care of equipment and supplies at job sit.
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit among janitorial contract associates and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
