ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner in Shoreview, MN to perform a variety of cleaning duties across facilities. Duties include sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and surface cleaning to maintain a safe, clean environment.

The role supports meetings and events and follows all safety protocols. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a schedule from Monday to Friday, 5:00pm to 10:00pm, at an hourly rate of $18.50.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00pm - 10:00pm
