Location: 7810 South 42nd Place, Phoenix, AZ, USA

Under the direct supervision of the Facility & Real Estate Director , the main responsibilities of the Janitor are to keep maintenance and cleanliness of the premises support to the daily operations of the school.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans restrooms, including mop floors, dry sink counters, flush toilet & clean toilet seats as needed,restocking dispensers, emptying trash.
• Fills out Day Porter log showing the time each bathroom is serviced. Follows safety rules and precautions.
• Assisting lunch duty teachers with emptying trash cans in the cafeteria after each lunch period.
• In between bathroom rounds, walk the parking lots and pick up debris on the floor.
• Assist the Facility Manager with Campus Recreation programs, services, Facilities, general maintenance and construction principles, practices, and techniques
• Assist with moving furniture or heavy items as and when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Works well independently and has strong time management skills.
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Follows written and verbal instructions from the facility director.
• Collaborates with other facility and maintenance workers as needed
• Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, climbing, and lifting at least 35 pounds as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 year of experience of professional cleaning experience is preferred .
