Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada invites applications for a part-time instructional position in Italian. The successful candidate will teach college-level Italian courses, develop syllabi and course materials, and assess student mastery in accordance with course outcomes.

The role includes advising, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development, with teaching at multiple Clark County campuses and availability for day, evening, and weekend schedules.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Italian Language, Literature, Linguistics or Second Language Acquisition from a regionally accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level courses in Italian.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide an excellent teaching experience, as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
• Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.
