Job summary

Jensen’s Marina on Captiva Island is seeking a part-time, thorough housekeeper to attend all areas of our facilities and maintain a high standard of cleanliness. The role emphasizes guest experience, reliability, and attention to detail in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning lists, equipment maintenance, reporting shortages, and handling guest requests. Must be 18+, speak English fluently, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality or similar setting.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Minimum age 18 and legally eligible to work.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms.
• Maintain equipment in good condition.
• Report on any shortages, damages or security issues.
• Handle reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and inform others when required.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables.
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws.
