Job summary

Northwestern Health Sciences University Bloomington Clinic is seeking a Massage Therapist to join its Bloomington clinic team. You will conduct initial assessments, review patient history, and work with clients to define health goals while providing therapeutic massage care.

The role includes clinical assisting duties such as rooming patients, maintaining OSHA standards, and educating patients per provider instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Eligible to sit for Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work.
• Additional training in Shiatsu and CPR/BLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic massage care and assess client health goals.
• Conduct initial assessments and review patient history to define goals.
• Maintain client documentation in a timely manner and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Assist providers, room patients, and maintain OSHA standards; educate patients per providers' instructions.
• Refer clients to internal or external healthcare professionals when needed.
