Instructors come from diverse scholarly backgrounds and may teach foundational or topical courses; prior experience at undergraduate/graduate level is preferred, and involvement in community

Qualifications

• A MA or PhD in the humanities or social sciences is required.
• Experience teaching college/university courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• Community service/work experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses related to Race, Ethnicity, Gender, Class, and Sexuality.
• Adapt to an interdisciplinary department with diverse scholarly backgrounds.
• Serve a semester appointment with potential for reappointment.
