The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. seeks an Adjunct Instructor at Trinity River Campus to support Integrated Reading and Writing courses. The role is part-time with a variable schedule and no remote work eligibility.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction per the college syllabus, using LMS tools, communicating with students and staff, and maintaining accurate attendance and grading records. A relevant bachelor’s degree and teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Reading, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
• If EDUC degree, must include 18 hours in other listed related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree with 18 graduate hours in one or more related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree with three years of related teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Accepts and teaches classes based on varied schedules and modalities (Dual Credit, On-Campus, Online or Weekend College).
• Prepares and delivers instruction following the College Master Syllabus using the LMS.
• Communicates with students and college officials; responds to emails and requests for meetings.
• Prepares assignments and assessments to ensure learning outcomes; maintains attendance records.
• Evaluates student performance and posts grades in the LMS weekly; submits final grades on time.
