Job description

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, including clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, transfusion medicine, and phlebotomy.
• Prepare students for national certifications such as Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Scientist, and Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Assignments may vary by semester and include classroom, online, morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend sessions across CSN campuses.
• Oversee specialty lab areas and classrooms as needed.
• Collaborate with CLS faculty to develop courses and select textbooks.

Qualifications

• CLS certification commensurate with assigned course(s).
• Minimum one‑year clinical experience.
• Preferred: major, minor, or advanced degree from a regionally accredited institution, MLS or MLT degree.
• Experience using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).
• Experience working with a diverse workforce and/or student body.

Salary and Employment Details

$925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits vary by semester.
$57.81 per lab credit hour. Credits vary by semester.

Full‑time equivalent: 48.8%. Location: Henderson. Exempt.
