Qualifications

• Keep current on changes in job requirements and training.
• Assist licensed teacher with routine classroom activities.
• Assist in preparing assignments including correction of papers, supplies, and decor.
• Supervise students in classrooms, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and bus areas.
• Follow policies and procedures and communicate effectively with staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in classrooms, lunchrooms, media centers, playground, bus pickup/drop off.
• Administrate basic first aid as needed per training.
• Maintain confidentiality and non-judgmental attitude toward students and staff.
• Work as part of an educational support team under supervision.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate judgment and action.
