Job summary

Sacramento City Unified School District is seeking a part-time Instructional Assistant to support students in an organized setting. The position is 0.3750 FTE with 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, over 10 months per year.

Applicants must have a high school diploma and meet one of several eligibility paths: two years of college coursework, an associate’s degree, pass the paraprofessional test, or be NCLB compliant. Three references are required when applying.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school.
• One year of experience working with individuals or students in an organized setting.
• Two years of college-level work (48 units) or equivalent eligibility pathways.
• Possess either an associate’s degree, paraprofessional test success, or NCLB compliance.
