The ideal candidate will hold a Substitute or Teaching Certification and show strong interpersonal skills, patience, and teamwork. Prior educational experience and ability to adapt to student needs are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Substitute or teaching certification is required.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to individual student needs.
• Background check clearance as required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing and implementing instructional materials and activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and communicate findings to teachers.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including grading and record-keeping.
• Facilitate communication between teachers, students and parents.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development as required.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or program coordinator.
