Job summary

The Thomas B. Finan Center in Cumberland, MD, is seeking two part-time psychiatrists to deliver inpatient psychiatric care. Responsibilities include direct patient treatment, on-call coverage for clinical services, and creating and following through on treatment plans.

Applicants must meet Maryland licensing requirements and be board-certified in Psychiatry, or eligible for certification according to the AMA and Maryland Board guidelines. This is a contractual, part-time role.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in Maryland.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry per Maryland Board requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric treatment to mentally ill patients at the Thomas B. Finan Center.
• Serve on-call coverage for clinical services.
• Develop, implement and oversee patient treatment plans.
• Order tests and prescribe medications as appropriate.
