Job summary

Physiotherapy Associates is seeking a Part Time Injury Prevention Specialist to support a medical manufacturing and distribution center in Jackson, GA. The role is designed for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, PTA, COTA, or similar background, focusing on ergonomics and preventive health.

The part-time position combines education, coaching, and early intervention strategies to reduce workplace injuries and promote employee well‑being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree required.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide improvement recommendations.
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits.
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs.
• Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Deliver return-to-work programs for employees returning from injury.
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees.
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics.
