Job summary

The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College seeks part-time instructors to teach in our Industrial Machinery, Industrial Automation and Maintenance, and related technical programs at multiple locations, including Rio Grande and centers in Jackson, McArthur, and Pomeroy, OH. Instructors may be assigned courses based on qualifications and experience; not every course listed must be taught.

Instruction is in-person with assignments matched to trade background.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 1–3 years of industry experience or 5+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.
• Bachelor's degree in related area and prior teaching experience preferred.
• Credentials such as Fanuc, NIMS, OSHA, AWS, electrician/journeyman, or rigging are strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person courses across Industrial Machinery, Industrial Automation and Maintenance programs at multiple OH locations.
• Assignments matched to each instructor's specific trade background and experience.
• Review of applications will begin immediately; positions are open until filled; background check required prior to hire.
