Job summary

Eastern View High in Culpeper, Virginia seeks an Assistant Indoor Track Coach to guide training, support athletes, and coordinate with the Athletic Director. The position is part-time with a monthly stipend of $3,983, starting immediately.

Responsibilities include supervising after-school practices and meets, developing schedules, communicating effectively with staff and parents, and upholding Virginia High School League policies. Candidates should be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others.
• Be recommended by the division superintendent and appointed by the school board.
• Knowledge of Virginia High School League policies, procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitors supervision of team and student athletes after school hours.
• Supervises home and away athletic events as scheduled by Athletic Director.
• Works with the Athletic Director to develop schedules for athletic events including practice schedules.
• Demonstrates a commitment to professional growth.
• Performs other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the Principal or Athletic Director.
