Job summary

ThisWay is seeking a Part Time Product Demonstrator for Costco in Chicago, IL to engage customers with live product demonstrations and sampling, helping shoppers understand product features and benefits while supporting sales.

You will handle setup, cook samples, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety guidelines. Availability 2-3 shifts weekly including weekends; must be 18+ and able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Availability to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for up to 6 hours.
• Ability to prepare, cook, and clean work areas and equipment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
• Ability to follow safety procedures in a retail setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live product demonstrations and sampling for customers.
• Engage with customers to provide product information and answer questions.
• Support sales by promoting featured products during events.
• Prepare and cook sample items as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines in a retail environment.
• Interact with store personnel and team members as needed.
