NOVASTAR PREP is seeking dedicated part-time tutors to work 1:1 with students in Northern Virginia. In-person sessions are available in Herndon, Reston, Vienna, Oakton, Great Falls, McLean and more, with flexible scheduling to fit your life.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience, plus reliable transportation and basic computer skills to use teaching tools. Pay starts at $30/hour with bi-weekly direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 1 year+ tutoring or teaching experience required.
• Clear and effective communication with students of diverse learning styles.
• Reliable transportation to in-person sessions in Northern Virginia.
• Basic computer literacy for teaching tools and digital resources.
• Willingness to commit to at least one semester.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-person tutoring to students in Northern Virginia.
• Maintain a consistent schedule and chosen tutoring locations.
• Monitor and track student progress and adapt instruction as needed.
