Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in New Jersey is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care during client home visits across Jersey City, Paterson, Clifton, Passaic, Morristown, West Orange, Wayne, and surrounding areas.

The role offers a guaranteed base salary of $65,000 annually with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits, including retirement plans and PTO. Full-time and part-time schedules are available based on area needs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families during in-home visits.
• Attend in-home visits across Jersey City, Paterson, Clifton, Passaic, Morristown, West Orange, Wayne, NJ and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with support professionals and practice managers to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain safety and professional standards during home visits.
