Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Washington, DC and surrounding areas. This mobile role emphasizes hospice and euthanasia care, delivering compassionate support to pets and families in meaningful moments.

As part of a supportive team, you will practice independently with mentorship and ongoing training, while enjoying a balanced life. A DVM and valid U.S. driver''s license are required, with weekend availability encouraged.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver''s license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.

Full‑time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
