Job summary

Lap of Love, a mobile veterinary hospice provider, is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Hernando, FL and surrounding areas. You’ll deliver hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes, offering compassionate, patient-centered medical services while maintaining balance with personal life.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree required and licensed in the US.
• Weekend availability is required, including some weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality medical care to pets in a home setting.
• Participate in onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing support within Lap of Love.

*Veterinarian Salary Range

Part-time (2-day/week) opportunities available in Hernando, FL, including Inverness, Brooksville, Crystal River, Istachatta, Masaryktown, and surrounding areas, offering a guaranteed base salary of $45,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidateswill be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
