Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to perform in-home hospice and euthanasia care across multiple OH areas. You will deliver compassionate care in clients' homes, balancing medical expertise with emotional support for families, while enjoying a flexible, purpose-driven career.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Eligibility for U.S. veterinary license in good standing.
• Availability to work some weekends and travel for in-home visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in patients' homes.
• Perform in-home examinations and consultations with pet families.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team for ongoing mentorship and professional development.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: Part-time (2-day/week) opportunities available in Cleveland, Parma, Lakewood, Mentor, Chagrin Falls, Westlake, OH and surrounding areas, offering a guaranteed base salary of $45,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
