Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian in Atlanta, GA, covering Decatur, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Mableton, South Fulton and surrounding areas. You will provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care with a patient- and family-centered approach.

Join a community of veterinarians delivering compassionate, independent work while supported by onboarding and ongoing mentorship. Flexible 2-5 day schedules offered for part-time roles with base salary and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in in-home settings.
• Offer support to families during sensitive moments and practice veterinary medicine with balance and heart.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team for referrals, mentorship, and quality care.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: Part-time (2-day/week) opportunities available in Atlanta, GA, including Decatur, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Mableton, South Fulton, and surrounding areas, offering a guaranteed base salary of $55,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request.
