Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Caregiver to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes across the Rogue Valley (Medford, Ashland, Jacksonville, Eagle Point, White City, Central Point, Phoenix, and Talent).

You will provide personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance, while following individual care plans and documenting care notes. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check is required.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID are required.
• Compassion, reliability and a positive attitude are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transportation as needed.
• Maintain safety and communicate concerns to the office team.
• Document daily care notes in the mobile app following care plans.

About the Role

As a Right at Home Part-Time Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, in-home support that enables seniors and vulnerable adults to continue living safely and independently in the comfort of their homes.

• Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.

• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.

• Providing medication reminders.

• Assisting with mobility and transportation.

• Safety supervision and peace of mind.

• Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.

• Communicating effectively with our office team.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for caring individuals who are passionate about helping others. You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• Successfully pass a background check.

• Reliable transportation and valid ID.

• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Previous caregiving experience, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not essential. We provide ongoing training and support to help you succeed.
