Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home speech therapy services. The role supports patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders across our home health agencies in California.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure, plus CPR/BLS; ASHA CCC is preferred. A valid driver’s license and being 21+ are required. E-Verify participation is part of our process.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or foreign equivalent.
• State licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current CPR or BLS certification per AH policy.
• ASHA CCC certification: preferred.
• Valid Driver's License (DL) and at least 21 years old: required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, care needs, interventions and outcomes.
• Identifies changes and trends in physical and emotional parameters.
• Reviews treatment plans and assesses performances to modify or write new programs.
• Maintains documentation as required by law and policy.
• Instructs patients on monitoring speech and practicing skills.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
