Job summary

Care.com is seeking a Part Time Child Caregiver in Charleston, SC to care for children in families’ homes, up to 8 hours per day. You will follow parent schedules, perform light household duties, and coordinate with a full-service support team.

Applicants must be 18+, have childcare experience, be able to travel within 15 miles, and hold CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it with reimbursement. You’ll use apps to manage placements and communications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability: at least 1 weekday with 8 consecutive hours between 6am–8pm.
• Related childcare experience required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• CPR/First Aid certification required prior to start date (reimbursement provided).

Responsibilities

• Conduct intro calls with each family you're booked with.
• Care for children in their homes, typically an 8-hour day.
• Abide by and follow the schedule and rules set forth by parents.
• Perform household duties related to care (cleanup after meals, dishes, activities).
