Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Caregiver. As a Caregiver, your day-to-day tasks will include the following:

1. Homemaker: grocery shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, cooking, meal preparation, laundry and ironing
2. Private duty care: medication reminders, bathing and oral hygiene assistance, toileting assistance including incontinence care, dressing, and grooming
3. Companionship: engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and games, taking walks, and safety supervision
4. Travel Companion: drive and assist clients during trips while providing safety supervision
5. 24 Hour / Overnight care: includes all services mentioned as well as assistance with morning and evening routine and tuck-in before bed time
6. Palliative care: pain management, symptom management, and emotional support.

This role requires working on-site in our client's home located in Northern Virginia.

U.S. work authorization is required. Sponsorship for employment visas is NOT available.

Qualifications

1. Experience in caregiving or a related field (at least 2 years)
2. U.S. work authorization
3. Ability to provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
4. Experience with medication reminders and monitoring vital signs
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to provide companionship and engage clients in activities
7. Reliability and punctuality, flexible hours preferred
8. Valid driver's license
9. Valid CPR and First Aid certification
10. CNA/PCA/HHA Certification
