Job summary

CareOne Senior Care in Clarkston, MI is hiring a dependable Part-Time In-Home Caregiver to provide companionship and feeding assistance. This role offers a small, consistent schedule with about 4 hours per week. Ideal candidates are patient, friendly, and able to follow an individualized care plan.

You will work in a home setting, maintain privacy, and report any changes to the CareOne office. Weekly pay and supportive onboarding are included, with opportunities for additional hours on specialty

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Patient, compassionate, and respectful.
• Comfortable providing companionship and feeding assistance.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Able to follow a client's care plan and instructions.
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home.
• Must successfully complete the required background screening.
• Must have a current TB test or be willing to obtain one.
• Must be willing to complete required onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly companionship and conversation.
• Assist with feeding as needed per the care plan.
• Encourage and participate in simple activities.
• Create a safe, comfortable, positive environment.
• Follow the client's care plan and caregiver instructions.
• Respect client privacy, dignity, routines.
• Observe and report changes or concerns regarding the client's needs.
• Communicate with the CareOne Senior Care office regarding the client's care.
• Complete required shift documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow all CareOne Senior Care policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with the client and their family.
