Job summary

Jacent is seeking a Merchandiser to join our field team in Connecticut. You will place products, build displays, and collaborate with store personnel in your local community.

We offer $18.50 per hour, a 20–25 hour work week, paid training, mileage and travel time, cell phone reimbursement, advancement opportunities, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments after 60 and 120 days of continuous employment.

Qualifications

• Self-starter and quick learner who enjoys independent and team work.
• Comfortable in changing environments.
• Able to meet physical requirements with/without accommodation: standing/walking 3–8 hrs, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and repetitive motions.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communicator capable of building relationships with business partners.
• Resides within 20 miles of Old Saybrook, CT.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating relationships with in-store management.
• Executing merchandising resets.
• Building retail displays.
• Merchandising impulse items on clip strips & J-hooks.
• Implementing plan-o-grams.
