Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist/Job Coach to help individuals with IDD explore careers, secure employment, and develop skills for long-term success in integrated community settings.

You’ll provide one-on-one coaching, monitor progress, educate employers on inclusive hiring, advocate for accommodations, and contribute to a compassionate team focused on community impact.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD).
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Day and Evening time availability.
• Part Time.
• ACRE and/or CESP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching and training to individuals with IDD in integrated community work settings.
• Assist individuals in exploring career interests, securing employment, and developing skills for long-term success at work.
• Educate employers on benefits and opportunities of work with people with disabilities.
• Advocate for inclusion on the job and reasonable accommodations for the individual.
• Support community integration and inclusion in the workplace.
