The Hop Ice Cream is seeking a friendly, reliable team member to join the S&W Market shop in downtown Asheville. You will provide warm, customer-focused service and confidently scoop ice cream for a steady flow of guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and scoop ice cream throughout shifts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Comfortable working solo or as part of a small team.
• Inclusive and respectful with a diverse customer base.
• Previous food service or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, welcoming, and efficient customer service.
• Scoop and serve ice cream and other menu items accurately and enthusiastically.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card transactions.
