Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage a part-time hybrid schedule.

• Maintain accurate documentation in the facility’s medical record system.
• Participate in care conferences and quality improvement activities.
• Follow facility policies and standards for nutrition care in skilled nursing.

Job Description

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to provide nutrition care at a skilled nursing facility in San Bernardino, CA. This part-time opportunity offers a blend of onsite patient care and remote work, with ongoing support from our dedicated team.

Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule: 8-12 hours per week

Remote Flexibility: Up to 50% of weekly hours may be completed remotely.

Compensation: $40.00-$45.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and follow-ups for residents identified at nutritional risk.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.

• Perform additional duties within the dietitian’s scope of practice as needed.

Experience & Qualifications

• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN).
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and interdisciplinary care planning.
