Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian for a part-time, hybrid role in California (Fremont). 24 hours per week with 50% remote work and 1–2 onsite visits weekly. Compensation is $40.00–$45.00 per hour, plus travel time paid.

There is a 50% remote option to balance in-person care and telehealth support for residents in skilled nursing facilities. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Dietetics or Nutrition, are registered with the CDR, and have state

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to assess objectives and develop and monitor improvement plans.
• Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other team members.
• Monitor resident weight regularly to identify changes in nutrition or hydration status.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services.
