Qualifications

• Master’s degree that includes 18 graduate credit hours of coursework in one of the following disciplines: literature, cultural/social history, religion, visual arts, performing arts (i.e. music, dance, theater), or philosophy.
• Proven ability to work effectively and constructively with people of diverse cultures, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
• Per Load Hour Compensation Schedule 2025-2026: $1,373, 2026-2027: $1,414.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in HUM 127 and other courses as scheduled each academic semester.
• Develop instructional materials and provide syllabus with course objectives and learning outcomes.
• Assess student learning and assign grades; provide timely feedback.
• Attend required Adjunct meetings in Fall and Spring semesters and participate in college governance.
