Job summary

AmeriCorps & Senior Corps is seeking individuals for the Housing First Service Corps (Part-Time) program (PY 26/27). The role involves conducting HUD Coordinated Entry intake, engaging in street and public outreach, and coordinating referrals to wraparound services for homeless and at-risk populations.

Participants will gain experience in coordinating rapid rehousing and permanent supportive housing efforts, with stipends, living allowances, and education awards provided through AmeriCorps

Responsibilities

• Complete HUD Coordinated Entry intake process for federal homeless assistance.
• Engage in street and public outreach.
• Assist with referrals to and provision of supportive services, including serving at soup kitchens, food pantries, and clothing closets.
