The role maintains the cleanliness of the park's 14 cabins, two day-use facilities, Gaines Lodge, and additional restrooms. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and work a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of 14 cabins, two day-use facilities, Gaines Lodge, and restrooms.
• Perform cleaning tasks: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, windows, trash, linens and laundry preparation.
• Identify and report safety hazards to supervisor and follow SOPs to ensure high-quality service.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Table Rock State Park fits the bill for the natural beauty attributed to scenic Highway 11. The towering mountain, which gives the park its name, serves as a backdrop for the 3,000 acre park and its facilities. Below this section of the Blue Ridge Mountains, South Carolina natives and visitors can enjoy Table Rock State Park cabins, a campground and an old-fashioned swimming hole on one of the park’s two lakes.

Table Rock State Park is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to support our lodging operations and help provide guests with a clean, safe, and welcoming experience.

The Housekeeping Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the park’s 14 cabins, two day-use facilities, Gaines Lodge, and additional restroom facilities as needed. Duties include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, emptying trash, changing linens, and completing linen laundry and preparation within the housekeeping facility.

This position also requires identifying and reporting safety hazards to the supervisor on duty and following the South Carolina State Park Service’s lodging standards and established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Candidates must be willing to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
