Job summary

Kohl’s in the United States is seeking a dedicated associate to ensure a safe and clean environment in all areas of the store. You will perform daily store cleaning tasks effectively and efficiently and complete operational processes as needed to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key duties include cleaning floors, windows, restrooms and stock areas, using only approved chemicals, maintaining supplies, completing required training, and supporting stockroom operations and omni-channel

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean all store areas (floors, windows, restrooms, trash) per Kohl’s guidelines.
• Use approved chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe environment.
• Restock and rotate chemicals and supplies as needed.
• Complete required training for chemicals, equipment and maintenance.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and operate store tech and scanners.
• Assist with stockroom operations and omni-channel fulfillment when required.
• Greet customers and assist with products and services.
• Maintain safety and follow company policies and procedures.

About the Role

In this role, you will ensure a safe and clean environment in all areas of the store. You will perform daily store cleaning tasks effectively and efficiently and complete operational processes as needed to provide an excellent customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Clean all areas of the store (e.g., floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Kohl’s best practices and standards procedures, guidelines, and methods
• Utilize only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment
• Maintain levels of company‐approved chemicals and supplies by placing orders to replenish when supplies are low, ensuring supplies are rotated and stored in proper containers in preparation for their use
• Complete and maintain required training for chemical, equipment, and maintenance
• Routinely complete basic equipment maintenance following company guidelines
• Effectively use Kohl’s tools and technology to plan, communicate and share information with the store team
• Support the operations team to receive and process product, execute stockroom operations and omni channel fulfillment when needed
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two person lift.
• Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull on a frequent basis.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
• Ability to comply with health and safety standards.

Pay Range: $16.45 - $21.40
