Job summary

The Terraces at Capitol Village is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean, safe, and inviting spaces for residents and staff in a welcoming, home-like community. You will perform duties across resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, while following infection control guidelines and safety procedures.

This role offers a team-focused environment with opportunities to contribute to high standards of cleanliness and exceptional care, including mornings on a weekend rotation

Qualifications

• Follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
• Clean assigned areas including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, dining rooms, and offices.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and stock supplies at the end of each shift.
