Job summary

Elan Skilled Nursing in Scranton, PA is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm shift to help keep resident rooms and common areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform housekeeping duties in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions for cleaners and supplies.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
• Remove and rehang curtains and drapes for laundering.
• Sanitize beds, furniture and equipment as assigned.
• Stock supply closets and housekeeping carts with supplies and chemicals.
• Treat residents with respect and maintain privacy.
• Follow all department and facility policies.
• Attend staff in-service programs.
