Job summary

Valley Health’s Winchester Medical Center is seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Floor Crew for the first shift. The role covers cleaning duties from routine housekeeping to surgical area floor care, supporting patient care areas and offices in Winchester, VA.

Qualifying applicants will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior institutional housekeeping experience is preferred. Strong reading/writing skills, positive attitude, excellent customer interactions, and good hygiene are

• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instruction and established procedures.
• Must possess a positive attitude and display excellent customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks from housekeeping to floor care, including between case surgical cleaning.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment for staff, visitors, and patients in patient care areas and offices.
• Maintains stock and supplies and provides other support to the department as needed.
