Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper for Mira Vie at Fanwood Community. Schedule: Wednesday, Friday, and every other Saturday, 8am–4pm, providing cleaning and laundry services across apartments and common areas.

You will maintain safety, follow regulatory standards, and communicate with supervisors about community needs. Prior experience and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Visits assigned residences to perform basic apartment cleaning and laundry duties.
• Changes linens weekly and coordinates with residents as needed.
• Interacts with residents in a friendly manner and communicates concerns to management.
• Maintains cleanliness of common areas and entryways.
• Cleans floors, carpets, restrooms, and surfaces; uses proper cleaning techniques.
• Handles hazardous cleaning supplies per procedures.
• Attends in-service training as scheduled.
• Responds to resident emergencies per protocol.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, federal rules and licensing.
